The Veggies

We grow a wide variety of vegetables to provide our CSA member's with a weekly share of diverse, fresh, organic produce.

It is a complex, yet beautiful seasonal symphony that keeps us on our toes. So complex, we had to make a chart to show you.

Spicy, pepper flavour, great for salads, sandwiches or pesto. Also known as roquette or rocket.

A mix of mustard greens and chinese greens great steamed or braised.

Green beans, yellow wax beans, and french filet beans.

Red, golden and candy beets. Great steamed, pickled or grated raw on salads.

Red, green and savoy. Great for coleslaw or salads.

We grow a rainbow of colored carrots. Orange, red, purple, yellow and white, all delicious.

Twelve different types and colors make up our beautiful mix.

We grow 15 varieties of French and Italian garlic.

Also known as garlic flowers, fantastic in stir fries, on the grill or steamed. Mild garlic flavour with asparagus texture.

Basil, chives, mint, cilantro, dill, the list goes on.

Jalapeno, habanero, Serrano, passila, cubanelle, hot,hot, hot!

Great steamed or in soups.

Purple and green, great sliced raw on salad, kind of a cross between a radish and broccoli, great crisp flavour.

We grow 20 different varieties of potatoes, reds, whites, blues, yukon gold, fingerlings, russets, the list goes on!

Come out to the farm in the fall and pick your own.

Red globe, french breakfast, watermelon and black spanish.

A blend of baby lettuce and other seasonal greens.

Small, white, golf-ball sized turnips, great eaten raw.

Baby spinach for salad.

Many different colors of patty pans and crooknecks.

Red, yellow, orange, purple, brown , and italian roasting peppers.

Multi-coloured green, great steamed or braised.

This year we will have 60 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes, to many to list. Come out to our annual tomato tasting in early September and see for yourself.

A wide selection of melons including cantaloupe, honeydew, butterscotch, charentais, and asian.

Twelve different varieties of winter Squash, but lots of butternut and acorn.
