Roots Down Organic Farm will be holding its annual CSA heirloom tomato tasting event Saturday, September 10th on the farm from 12-4 P.M. We will be tasting some of the more than 90 different varieties of tomato we grow and voting on our favorites. We’ll also have plenty of sweet corn and watermelon to enjoy.

Roots Down will be having a CSA meet and greet Thursday March 25th from 4-7 at Old Farm Fine Foods located at 204 Barrie St. on the intersection of Barrie and Clergy St. West. This will be an information meeting for those interested in joining the CSA, or any existing members who want to stop by and say hi. Old Farm Fine Foods is a new local food shop owned by our friends and fellow farmers Steve and Nancy and will also be the location of our Queens/Sydenham Ward Pick-up.
