How it works

We are now offering this option because many people would like to support our farm, but our traditional CSA does not quite fit there lifestyle or schedule. Our market CSA is based on the same principals as our traditional CSA, but offers the eater a bit more choice in what they get each week as well as what weeks they pick it up. Members pay at the beginning of each season and then visit one of our Kingston area farmers' market stalls to choose which veggies they like. They may do this anytime during the market season (May - November) and choose what they would like from what we have available for that day. In exchange for pre-paying at the beginning of the season and your commitment to our farm, we are able to give you 10% more vegetables than what you would normally be getting for your money. How much does it cost?

A full market CSA costs $500*
+ 10% gets you $550 dollars worth of vegetables

A half market CSA costs $300*
+ 10% gets you $330 dollars worth of veggies

Where and when can I pick-up?

You can pick-up at any of our Kingston or Gananoque farmers markets - downtown Kingston Public Market (Thursday or Saturday), the new Kingston Memorial Centre market (Sunday) or Gananoque Farmers Market (Thursday evening). You choose which weeks you want to pick-up. Please see our markets page for more information on each specific market.

How much can I take each time?

We ask that you take a minimum of $20.00 per visit to minimize our administrative costs. We also ask that if you plan to take more than $75 worth of vegetables that you give us a heads up during the week before so that we can plan accordingly.

What can I take each time?

Anything that we have for sale at market that day. We may offer some suggestions to those who are looking to expand their veggie horizons, but ultimately the choice is yours. For your meal planning purposes, we will be informing you earlier in the week what will be available at market.

How will you keep track?

After you’ve made your choice, we will record your tally and enter into our database. At anytime you would like to now what your balance is, just give us a shout. We would recommend that each customer keep there own running tally but if you lose track, no worries. We won’t be tracking what individual veggies you get, just the amount you spend.

Can I be a member of the traditional CSA and the market CSA?

Absolutely. Many of our CSA members are also market customers. In fact, in return for your double commitment to our farm, we’ll give you can an extra $20 dollars of veggies for a full market CSA, or $10.00 for a half market CSA.
