About CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct relationship between farmer and eater that strives to cultivate a balance between farm, city and the environment. By becoming a CSA member, you commit yourself to a share of the harvest, providing us with a guaranteed market for our vegetables. By paying in advance, our small family farm is able to focus on farming, instead of going into debt to start the season. In exchange, we commit to providing you and your family the freshest, healthiest organic vegetables possible, using farming practices that are beneficial to you and the environment. This relationship helps support a local farm, provides affordable organic produce to its members and strengthens our community and environment.

How it Works

For 18 weeks, June through October, members meet at pre-determined pick-up locations to receive that week’s share of the harvest. In addition to the delicious veggies we provide you with recipes and storage tips to help you out, as well as newsletters to keep you informed about happenings on the farm. Members can sign-up for a full-share of 18 weeks, or a half-share of 9 weeks picked up every other week.

Pricing

Full Share (18 weeks)-$550

Half Share (9 weeks)-$285

Payment can be made in full, or three instalments throughout the season. Please let us know if you would like to make alternative payment arrangements, we are very flexible. In exchange for your commitment to our farm, we intend to give you 5-10% on your share price. So for a full share of $550, we will give you up to $600 worth of veggies. Members also receive 5% off bulk veggies for canning or storage.

We have a limited number of Work-trade shares available this season. In exchange for one day a week of farm work, help at market or pick-ups you receive a full share plus extra veggies for canning. Please contact Sue or Jeff for more details.
